Though this classic Berkeley brown shingle had a lovely existing entry porch it had no dedicated interior entry space and, as typical of the era in which built, little closet space. We gave the porch a glass enclosure and created a functional mudroom while maintaining it’s original character. By adding a room on top of it we were able to give our clients the closet space they wanted.
